The 6% is not what you keep. The affiliate return is.
Price one SKU the way a TikTok Shop statement actually lands: referral,
the creator commission you set, fulfillment, ads, and the return rate
that often does not claw that commission back. Then see the
same order under the announced 1 October 2026 rates.
Status, 16 Oct 2026: reports differ on when (and whether) the 8% rate
applies to you, so use the scenarios to size the risk and confirm your own rate in Seller Center.

Transparent arithmetic from your inputs — not TikTok’s current fee schedule. Referral, facilitation, and creator payouts vary by category, region, and account. Verify against Seller Center before you reprice or raise a commission.
Charge vs free shipping
The dedicated free-shipping calculator already has the full math. This block uses the same compareFreeShipping on the SKU you just typed. Referral is a tie at the same customer total; creator commission on item price only is not.

What this checks
Most “TikTok Shop fees” pages stop at the 6% referral. The decision
sellers actually make is whether a creator commission still leaves
money after returns.
US shops usually pay a unified referral fee of about 6% of the fee base (customer payment plus platform discount minus tax). That rate already covers payment processing on domestic orders. Creator commissions you set, Fulfilled by TikTok or your own postage, ads, and returns stack on top. This page does the arithmetic from the rates you enter; it does not publish TikTok's live schedule.
Do I still pay affiliate commission if the buyer returns the order?
Often yes. Many sellers report the creator keeps the commission on a returned order. This calculator defaults to that. Tick 'affiliate commission is clawed back on a return' if your own statements show otherwise. Combined with a double-digit return rate, that is how a listing that looks fine at 6% loses money.
What changes on 1 October 2026?
TikTok has announced a move from a 6% standard US referral to 8% on most categories, plus a 1.5% creator facilitation fee on affiliate-sourced orders. This page compares your SKU under the mid-2026 defaults and under that announced schedule. Status check, 16 October 2026: that date has now passed, and the sources found while checking disagree. Several third-party seller guides say the 8% referral took effect on 4 August 2026, TikTok's public fee table was reported still showing 6%, and no source found mentions the 1.5% facilitation fee. Treat both schedules as scenarios and verify the live numbers in Seller Center and on your settlement statements before you reprice.
