FOR POSHMARK SELLERS

Under $15, the flat fee can cost more than 20% would.

Poshmark keeps a flat $2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% of the sale price at $15 or more, so below $14.75 the flat fee costs more than 20% would. Source: Poshmark, "Selling — How Poshmark Works" (US seller fee schedule). As of 2026-10-25.

Poshmark's fee is $2.95 flat under $15, and 20% at $15 or more — a real cliff, not a percentage rate. Below $14.75 the flat fee is worse than 20% would be, and it gets worse the cheaper the item. Have a whole sales history instead of one sale? The Poshmark sales report analyzer reads your My Sales Report CSV and shows profit per item, brand and month after fees — nothing uploaded.

The sale

Sale price is what the buyer paid for the item — not shipping. Poshmark's flat shipping fee funds a prepaid label and is never commissioned.

    Common questions

How much does Poshmark take per sale?

On Poshmark's published US schedule: sales under $15.00 pay a flat $2.95 fee, and sales of $15.00 or more pay 20% of the sale price. A $50 item pays $10.00 (Poshmark's own worked example) and you keep $40.00. Shipping the buyer pays is a separate flat fee that funds a prepaid label — Poshmark does not take a commission on it.

Is the flat $2.95 fee a good deal?

Only between $14.75 and $14.99. Twenty percent of $14.75 is exactly $2.95 — that is the break-even price. Above it (and still under $15) the flat fee is cheaper than 20% would be. Below $14.75 the flat fee costs more than 20% would, and the gap widens fast: a $10 item pays an effective 29.5% rate, and a $5 item pays 59%.

Does a lower offer near $15 cost me more than the discount?

Usually the opposite. Crossing from the 20% tier down into the flat fee is a one-time reduction in commission, not an increase, because 20% of anything at or above $14.75 is already at least $2.95. Very close to $15 this can even raise your payout on a lower sale price — for example dropping from $15.00 to $14.99 increases what you keep by four cents. The catch is once you are under $15, the fee is fixed, so any further discount comes entirely out of your own payout.

    Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Parsing and arithmetic happen entirely in your browser. Sale prices, costs, and payouts are never uploaded. If you use the save button, your numbers are written to this browser’s own local storage on this device only, and the forget button deletes them. The Copy shareable link button puts the same numbers in the page’s URL fragment, which your browser never sends to a server — nothing is uploaded that way either. The optional usage counter records only which features were used and the day, never any of your numbers.
