FOR DEPOP SELLERS

Depop's "0% selling fee" is not the same as free.

Depop charges US sellers no selling fee but a 3.3% payment-processing fee on the item price plus buyer-paid shipping, plus $0.45 per sale; UK sellers pay 2.9% + £0.30. Source: Depop Help Centre, "Seller fees and charges", cross-checked against third-party breakdowns. As of 2026-10-25.

US and UK sellers pay a 0% selling fee, but a separate payment-processing fee (3.3% + $0.45 in the US, 2.9% + £0.30 in the UK) still comes out of the item price plus any shipping the buyer paid. Outside the US and UK, Depop's older flat 10% selling fee still applies. See your real payout, the price that hits a profit target, and how the same sale would pay out in all three regions.

The sale

Item price is what the buyer paid for the item. Buyer-paid shipping is separate only if you charge for it — leave it at 0 for a free-shipping listing where the item price already covers postage.

    Common questions

How much does Depop take per sale?

For US and UK sellers, Depop's selling fee is 0%. A payment-processing fee still applies: 3.3% of the item price plus buyer-paid shipping, plus a flat $0.45, in the US; 2.9% plus a flat £0.30 in the UK. Sellers outside the US and UK still run Depop's older flat 10% selling fee on the item price plus shipping, with no separate processing fee.

Is Depop really free to sell on now?

No. The 0% figure is only the selling fee. A separate payment-processing fee (3.3%+$0.45 in the US, 2.9%+£0.30 in the UK) still comes out of every sale, so a typical sale still pays a few percent in total — just less than the old flat 10%, and calculated differently.

Does Depop's buyer Marketplace fee come out of my payout?

No. Depop charges the buyer a separate Marketplace fee at checkout (up to 5% + $1 of the item and shipping cost, on a sliding scale Depop has not published in full). It is added to what the buyer pays on top of your price and never reduces what the seller receives.

How much extra does a Boosted Listing sale cost?

Depop charges an additional 12% fee, on the item price, on any sale that happened while the listing was boosted — on top of the normal regional selling and processing fees.

    Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Parsing and arithmetic happen entirely in your browser. Item prices, costs, and payouts are never uploaded. If you use the save button, your numbers are written to this browser’s own local storage on this device only, and the forget button deletes them. The optional usage counter records only which features were used and the day, never any of your numbers.
