Questions
How many outfits does a capsule wardrobe make?
It depends on how the colours combine. The planner counts every top with every bottom, with or without a layer, allowing at most one accent colour per outfit; a 12-piece capsule in neutrals typically gives several dozen.
How big should a new clothing brand's first drop be?
Small enough that unsold stock cannot sink the launch. The planner fills a production budget with the factory's minimum order of the pieces that appear in the most outfits first, and leaves the rest for a later drop.
