Commands: built-in (no AI, nothing sent)

    Garment and fabric

    Artwork

    Public-domain paintings to start from

Many old paintings of saints and angels are in the public domain, and these collections publish images released for reuse. Check the terms on each image: the studio does not check rights.

Separate a painting for screen print

Reduces a painting to a few flat inks, shows how much each covers, warns about lines too fine for the screen, counts the screens (with a white underbase on dark garments), and builds a raised-outline layer for high-density or puff ink. Runs in your browser; the image is not uploaded.

      Cost, price and break-even

These costs use the example supplier sheet: round placeholder numbers, not a quote. Replace them with your manufacturer's prices below.

      Supplier sheet (your manufacturer's prices)

Prices per metre of fabric, per garment for cut and sew, and setup plus per-piece for each decoration method. Per-colour methods (screen, high-density, puff) multiply by the ink colours.

Optional: a model for freer speech

Off by default. The built-in commands need no AI. With your own key, or a model on your own computer (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp), the model rewrites what you say into the same commands, so it can only do what a typed command could, and every change is listed with an Undo. Your words and a one-line description of the design go to the provider you pick; nothing goes to us.

      Questions

Do I need to pay or sign up?

No. The studio is free and open source (MIT) and runs in your browser. The command box understands a fixed set of design commands with no AI at all. If you want it to understand freer speech, you can add your own AI key or point it at a model running on your own computer; that is optional and never required.

Where do the prices come from?

From your manufacturer. The studio ships an example sheet with round placeholder numbers so the page has something to show, and it says so next to every figure. Type your manufacturer's quote in, or import it as a CSV, and every cost on the page uses it.

Can it print a 3D, raised design?

It lets you choose raised methods (high-density screen print, puff print and 3D puff embroidery) and draws them with a shadow so you can see the effect. It also notes where a raised method suits the artwork poorly, for example fine painted detail, which usually reproduces better flat with the raised ink on an outline or halo.

Can I put a famous old painting on a shirt?

Often, if the painting is in the public domain and the photograph you use is released for reuse. Several museums publish open-access images; the studio lists some. Check each image's terms yourself: the studio does not check rights.

      Is my design uploaded?

No. Designs and uploaded images stay in your browser. A share link carries the design inside the link, without uploaded images. If you add an AI key, your command text and a short description of the design go to the provider you chose; with a local model, nothing leaves your computer.
