Route assumptions

Use your own averages. Drive time is the route's paid time even when no pool is being serviced. Your numbers are kept as a private local draft in this browser and restored the next time you open this page.

Leave this blank to just see the minimum. Enter it to check an existing route against the target margin instead of pricing a new one.

This is a planning threshold, not a recommended price. Add taxes, equipment replacement, bad debt, and seasonal work if they apply to your operation.

Private by default

Everything runs in your browser. Your route assumptions are never uploaded, and there are no accounts, cookies, or analytics vendors. Your draft is saved only in this browser's local storage, and a shareable link puts the same numbers in the URL hash on the recipient's device — nothing is uploaded either way. We count only anonymous feature events in local storage (estimate, share-link, current-price-checked) to learn whether the calculator is used.

Common questions

Does drive time between stops belong in the price?

Yes — drive minutes per visit is a required input, not an optional extra, because windshield time is paid time on a route even though no pool gets serviced during it. Skipping it or entering zero understates true monthly labor hours and produces a price that only covers time at the pool, not the route.

Why is the result called a “minimum” price instead of a recommended price?

The number is the floor at which your entered labor, drive time, chemicals, and overhead hit your target margin — it is not what the market will bear or what competitors charge. It also does not add taxes, equipment replacement, bad debt, or seasonal work (algae season, filter cleans, closings/openings) unless you fold those into your overhead or chemical inputs yourself.

What if visits per month vary by account (some weekly, some biweekly)?

Run the calculator per account group with different visit counts, or use a blended average across your route and treat the result as a route-wide floor rather than an exact account-by-account price. The tool prices one uniform account profile at a time; it does not segment a mixed route automatically.

Does anything about my accounts or pricing get uploaded?

No. Every number stays in this browser's local storage as a private draft, and a shareable link encodes the same inputs directly in the URL hash rather than on a server. Usage counting only tallies anonymous feature events like estimate, share-link, and current-price-checked, and you can turn it off with the button above.
