POOL SERVICE ROUTE CALCULATOR · RUNS IN YOUR BROWSER

Which pool accounts are worth the drive?

Enter each account's monthly price, visit minutes, drive minutes into the stop, chemical cost and callbacks. See the true effective hourly of every account, which to reprice or drop, the price that clears your target, what dropping or adding a stop 15 minutes away does to the whole route and a CSV audit of the route.

Your numbers, not market rates and not advice. This page knows no going rates and gives no legal, tax or contract advice: every price, minute and cost is a number you type. Nothing is uploaded: the inputs are used in this browser tab only.

1. Your accounts

2. Your costs and target

3. A stop you might add

Scored at the drive minutes below, and again at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minutes in the density table.

Prefer a CLI?

Same logic, zero dependencies, one command:

node cli.mjs audit accounts.csv --target 40
node cli.mjs audit accounts.csv --csv > audit.csv
node cli.mjs stop accounts.csv --leg 15 --price 140

Get cli.mjs and engine.mjs — Node 18+, nothing to install, no network call. More: Which pool service accounts are not worth keeping.

What's recognised

InputHandling

The answer is exact for the numbers you type. It does not know going rates, your local market, your service agreements, or who will cancel if a price rises.

Common questions

Is this a market rate or professional advice?

No. Every price, minute and cost in the answer is a number you typed. It does not look up what other pool companies charge and gives no legal, tax or contract advice. It does the arithmetic on your own route.

How do I know if a pool service account is profitable?

Divide what it pays per month, minus chemicals, truck cost and callback parts, by every hour it takes: visit time, the drive into the stop and the unpaid callback trips. Compare that with the hourly you need. The calculator does it for every account on your route.

Should I drop a pool service customer who is far from the rest of my route?

Look at the route's hourly with and without the account. A far stop costs drive hours as well as visit hours, so dropping it can raise the whole route's hourly even though its revenue goes away; the calculator shows the route hourly if each account were dropped, and the price that would make the stop worth keeping.

Does this upload my customers?

No. The browser page works on the text you enter, in your own browser, and never sends it anywhere. The CLI reads a local file or stdin and makes no network call.
