Questions people ask
What is the difference between an unlimited membership and a class pack for a studio?
An unlimited membership is a fixed monthly fee however often the member comes, so it earns more per visit when they come rarely and less when they come daily. A pack is paid up front for a set number of classes, and some are never taken, which is the pack's quiet margin. The planner shows what each plan earns per visit after card fees at the attendance and breakage you enter.
How many classes a month does it take for unlimited to beat a pack or drop-in?
Divide the unlimited price by the per-class price. At $159 unlimited, $26 drop-in and a $19 per-class pack, unlimited is cheaper for the member from about 8.4 classes a month. The planner prints both crossover points for your own prices, which is how a pricing page should explain the plans.
How full does a boutique fitness class need to be to break even?
Break-even class size is the cost of one class (instructor pay plus its share of rent and other fixed costs) divided by what an average visit nets after fees. The planner shows it next to your actual average attendance so you can see whether the schedule or the price is the problem.
Should I raise the price of my unlimited membership?
The best price is where the extra fee from members who stay outweighs the members you lose. The planner moves the unlimited price from 80% to 140% of today's and shows profit at each step on a member-loss rate you set. The rate is your assumption, not a measurement; test any change on new sign-ups first.
Is this business, tax or financial advice?
No. It is arithmetic on the numbers you type in and an assumption you choose. Lease terms, instructor classification and pay law, sales tax on memberships, insurance and refunds are out of scope.

How many members you will actually lose or gain at a new price (the member-loss rate is your assumption, not a measurement; test any price change on new sign-ups), lease terms, instructor classification and pay law, sales tax on memberships, insurance, refunds and freezes, member churn over time, and seasonality. The defaults are placeholders, not forecasts: check them against your own booking-platform reports.
