Drywall joints on studs, now a dropdown in the wall framing takeoff

The wall framing takeoff page can now snap drywall end joints to studs, so the sheet count reflects boards cut to land on framing.

wall-framing-takeoff counted drywall sheets from wall areas, but a butt joint that lands between studs has nothing to screw to. The engine learned to snap wall end joints to studs on 2026-10-26 (CLI only). The page now has a "Wall end joints" control with three choices: not placed (sheet count only), snapped to studs, or placed without snapping, which reports how many joints land off framing.

A 20 ft wall with 10 ft sheets puts its joint between studs unless snapped; the hand-count test pins that case. What is still unchecked: a real hang, and ceiling joints on joists. Estimates only, not engineering or building-code advice.
