Little Lamps has a new story: John Bosco and the Boy Who Juggled, for ages 3 to 8, about ten minutes read aloud.
The source is unusually good for a saint's childhood. In his Memoirs of the Oratory, written in his sixties, Bosco says he taught himself acrobatics and conjuring from travelling performers, then used the show to gather the neighbouring children, who prayed and repeated the morning's sermon before he would perform. The story follows that account, and the grown-ups' note says which details are his memory and which (the sore nose, the numbers, the wording) are ours.
It is text only. The site's committed audio is past the 400 MB line the creative guide sets, so new episodes wait until enclosures move off GitHub Pages. The story is CC BY-SA 4.0 and says on the page that an AI wrote it.
