A location that "did $73 in sales" can still be losing you money once commission, card fees, shrink, drive time, and the machine's own cost come out. This free calculator finds real profit for one location, then rolls your whole route up into a monthly number you can check against your income goal.

Your visit inputs above are saved locally in this browser so you don't retype them next time. A shareable link puts the same numbers in the URL fragment — nothing is uploaded. Your location list below is never saved.

This is a planning floor from the numbers you typed, not an audited statement. It does not add taxes, insurance, or a slow-season adjustment unless you fold those into machine cost or target rate yourself.

For each location, run it through the calculator above and enter its projected monthly profit here. Blank or zero rows are ignored. Nothing you type here is saved or uploaded — refreshing the page clears it.

Private by default
Everything on this page runs in your browser and nothing is ever uploaded. Your visit inputs (sales, commission, card fee, shrink, drive time, machine cost) and your target monthly income are saved locally on this device so you don't retype them next time — Reset to defaults clears them, and Copy shareable link puts them in a URL fragment your browser never sends anywhere. Your location rows are a different promise: they are never saved anywhere, and closing or refreshing the tab clears them. There is no account. We count only anonymous local feature events (visit-priced, route-check, link-copied, reset) so we can tell whether the calculator gets used — no locations, prices, or sales figures are recorded, and Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control turn it off automatically.
Common questions
Why does shrink (theft or spoilage) add extra cost instead of just lowering my sales count?
Because you already paid for those units when you loaded the machine — they were product cost, not lost revenue. Treating shrink as a hit to sales undercounts how much theft or spoiled stock is actually costing you; this calculator adds it on top of the cost of the units you did sell, so the real product cost shows up.
Why does commission come out of gross sales rather than my profit?
Because that is how nearly every vending placement agreement is written — the location owner is paid a percentage of what the machine takes in, not a share of what is left after your costs. Commission is one of the first numbers charged to a visit here, before card fees, mileage, or your own labor.
Why allocate the machine's monthly cost across each visit instead of tracking it separately?
A machine you are still paying off or leasing costs money whether or not a location sells well. Spreading that fixed cost across the visits you actually make each month is what turns "this location has $73 in sales" into "this location is worth keeping," the number that actually decides whether to renegotiate commission or pull the machine.
Does anything about my locations or sales get uploaded?
No. Every field on this page runs in your browser only. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and the location list you type into the route section is never saved anywhere — it exists only in the page while it is open. The visit inputs above and the target monthly income setting are different: those are saved locally on this device, so you don't retype them, and a shareable link can carry them to another device. Usage counting only tallies anonymous feature events, and you can turn it off with the button above.
