This tool vs. Sellerboard

Two different questions, asked at different moments. Sellerboard reports what orders you already shipped actually earned, from a connected seller account. This page ranks what one item you have not listed yet would net across six channels — free, in your browser, with nothing connected.

What each product is for

Sellerboard is a paid analytics subscription that connects to a seller account and reports profit and loss on orders that have already happened. Its subject matter is settled reality: real orders, real fees as the marketplace actually charged them, refunds, returns, advertising spend, cost of goods, reconciled per SKU and kept current as the account changes. It is built for a seller who is already selling and needs to know what the business earned, which SKUs are quietly losing money, and where the margin went.

This page does none of that. It connects to nothing, has no account, no login, and no memory between visits. It takes one item you are still deciding about — price, landed cost, category, monthly volume — applies each channel's published fee structure, and ranks the resulting net profit across eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and your own store side by side. Its subject matter is a decision you have not made yet, on channels you may have never sold on, which is precisely the case no history can answer.

What you want to knowWhere to answer it
What did my shipped orders actually earn last month, after real fees, refunds and ad spend?Sellerboard or comparable connected analytics — that is settled data this page never sees.
I am holding one item. Which of six channels nets me the most if I list it there? This tool — type it once, see all six ranked, free and instantly.
Which of my existing SKUs is quietly losing money once returns and advertising are counted?Sellerboard — that needs your real order history reconciled per SKU.
What would this item net on a marketplace I have never sold on and have no account with? This tool — it needs no account anywhere, so an unfamiliar channel ranks beside the familiar ones.
At what price does this item break even on each channel? This tool — it prints a per-channel break-even price from the cost you typed.
Do I have to connect a seller account, or upload anything, to use it?This tool: no. Sellerboard connects to your seller account by design, because that is where the data it reports lives.

A seller can reasonably want both, and many will: connected analytics for the business that exists, and a free local comparison for the listing decision that has not been made. They are not competing answers to one question. This page makes no claim about Sellerboard's accuracy, features, or current terms, and does not evaluate it — it describes only the shape of the product, as Sellerboard describes it publicly, and states what this tool does differently.

No account and no sign-in: this is a static page, the arithmetic runs in your browser, and once it has loaded it keeps working with the connection off.

What this tool cannot tell you

Worth being blunt about, because it is the honest half of the comparison above. This page never sees a real order, so every figure it prints is arithmetic on what you typed:

Those limits are the reason the comparison above is a comparison of shapes rather than a claim that one product replaces the other.

Common questions

Should I use this tool or Sellerboard?

They answer different questions, at different points in time. Sellerboard is a paid analytics subscription that connects to a seller account and reports profit and loss on orders that have already happened: real settlement data, real refunds, real advertising spend, reconciled per SKU and updated as your account does. This page has no account connection and no history. It takes one item you are still deciding about, applies each channel's published fee structure to the price and landed cost you type, and ranks the resulting net profit across eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and your own store side by side. A seller who wants to know what their business actually earned last month is asking Sellerboard's question. A seller holding an item and deciding where to list it is asking this page's question, and no amount of history answers it for a channel they have never sold on.

Can this page replace connected seller analytics?

No, and it does not try to. It never sees a real order. Every figure it prints is arithmetic on the numbers you typed and the fee rates shown on the page, which are editable defaults rather than a live fee schedule, so it cannot know your actual referral category, your negotiated rates, your refund rate, your ad spend, or what a marketplace actually settled to you. Confirm any rate against your own statement before pricing a catalogue against it. What it does instead is work before there is anything to reconcile, on a channel you have no account with, without connecting anything.

Is this page affiliated with Sellerboard?

No. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sellerboard. Sellerboard is a trademark of its owner, named here only to describe what this tool is and is not, based on Sellerboard's own public description of its product.

Fee rates change. The defaults in the comparison tool were current when it was written and are inputs, not a fee schedule. Confirm against your own statement before pricing a catalogue against them.
