The order calculator shows leftover at the price you typed. This page solves the other direction: the item price that keeps a leftover you name, using the same fee stack. It does not recommend a price or publish Etsy’s live schedule.

Common questions
What Etsy price keeps $20 after fees?
On the worked example — a $30 listing, $5 shipping charged, 6.5% transaction plus 3%+$0.25 payment, $6 postage, $4 materials, and a $0.20 listing fee — leftover at $30 is $21.23. The item price that keeps $20 after those same fees is $28.65. $10 leftover is $17.60. $30 leftover is $39.70.
Does this recommend a price?
No. It is the inverse of the order calculator: same fee stack, solved for item price instead of leftover. It does not publish Etsy's live schedule and does not say you should raise or lower a listing.
Where is target profit on the main calculator?
The order calculator already has a Target profit per order field under Reprice for a goal. This page is the same arithmetic on its own landing so the keep-$X question is searchable and shareable without the rest of the fee stack.
