Options
One option is a plain estimate. Add a second and third to offer a choice. Tick “Add-on” on a line to price it separately without adding it to the total.

What it does and does not do
- Maths in whole cents. Each option is priced on its own: lines, a discount applied before tax, a tax rate on the taxable lines, and a deposit as a percentage or flat amount of that option's total.
- Add-ons stay out of the headline price. They are listed with their own price so a client can say yes without the total changing under them.
- Sales tracking. Win rate counts decided estimates only: won divided by won, lost and expired. A sent estimate past its valid-until date reads as expired and stops counting as open pipeline.
- Not modelled: multiple tax rates, e-signatures (the printed signature block is for a pen or a typed reply), online payment, change orders, cost-plus markup, and any rule about what a written estimate must contain where you work.
Common questions
Is this estimate maker really free?
Yes. There is no watermark, no estimate limit, no account and no trial. It runs in your browser, so it costs nothing to serve, and it stays free.
Can I offer good, better and best options?
Yes. Add up to three options, each with its own line items, and the printed estimate shows them side by side so the client can pick one. Offering a choice usually beats a single take-it-or-leave-it number.
What are optional add-ons?
Mark a line as an optional add-on and it is listed under its option with its own price but left out of the total, so the client can say yes to it without it inflating the headline price.
Does it track whether estimates turn into work?
Yes. Mark an estimate sent, then won or lost. The sales panel shows your win rate on decided estimates, what is still open, and which sent estimates have gone quiet and are worth a follow-up.
How do I turn a won estimate into an invoice?
Press To invoice on a won estimate. A draft invoice is added to Invoice Maker on this device (if your browser blocks that, you get a file to restore instead), with the accepted option's lines and, if you say it was paid, the deposit already credited.
Where are my estimates stored?
In your browser on this device only. Clearing site data removes them, so use Download backup now and then; the file restores on any device. Nothing is uploaded.
Is an estimate legally binding, and is this legal advice?
No advice is given. Whether an estimate binds you or the client depends on your location, trade and what you write on it. This tool prints what you enter and states that it is an estimate, not a fixed-price contract; check local rules for contractor licensing and written-estimate requirements.
