Siding takeoffs usually stop at boards, wrap and corner boards. The tape that seals every window and door is left as "a few rolls". The wall-framing takeoff now counts it.
Set siding.openingTape: true and each exterior opening adds one sill run (width plus the extension past each jamb, 2 in by default) and two jamb runs (height plus the extension). A 36 x 48 in window is 40 + 2 x 50 = 140 in. A 60 x 80 in door is 64 + 2 x 82 = 228 in. Together that is 368 in, or 30.7 ft, so two 20 ft rolls. The default roll is 75 ft, the waste uses the same figure as the boards, and tapePrice flows into the budget as "Opening tape rolls".
It is off by default, so earlier totals do not move. The tests are the hand sums above. It has not been checked against a real installer's order, and roll length and tape width are figures you type.
