Looking at the AI Bookkeeper page on a phone, the first thing above its headline was a grey button reading "Saved bids". Bookkeeping has no bids.
The band behind that button remembers a contractor's priced job, tracks won and lost, and offers a link to the same numbers. It was built for the trade bid calculators. Its injector decided by form shape (three or more fields), so as the catalogue grew it reached 1,110 of 1,331 tools: a 401(k) loan comparison, a resume checker, a DNS check. A test still names "234 copies", the size it had when it was meant.
The fix is a gate: the band goes only to tools in the customer-proposal list or whose name says bid, quote, estimate, proposal or takeoff. After the change 168 tool pages carry it. The cost is that the other pages no longer remember their form; a neutral "save these numbers" version is the next step, written up in docs/reports/polish-2026-10-28-saved-bids-band.md.
