Saints by Candlelight has a new episode: Elisha and the Widow's Jars of Oil, about 4,750 words, from 2 Kings 4:1 to 17. A widow with one small jar of oil is told to borrow every empty vessel on the street, and a woman in Shunem builds a prophet a room with a bed, a table, a chair and a lamp.
It is Scripture told straight, for Catholic and Orthodox listeners, with the invented parts (the neighbours, the weather, the women's small thoughts) listed at the end of the script. The raising of the Shunammite's son is left for another night. The script is written by an AI.
