A bookkeeping page for personal trainers, and the four payees it had to learn

ai-bookkeeper gets a worked October for an independent trainer. Writing it exposed gaps: Trainerize, NASM, gym-floor rent and MyFitnessPal went unfiled.

I wrote a made-up October bank statement for an independent trainer (fixtures/trainer-checking.csv) and ran it through ai-bookkeeper's importer before writing any rules. Of 13 lines, 7 got an account. Trainerize, the NASM recertification, the gym-floor rental, Rep Fitness equipment and MyFitnessPal did not, and neither did a Venmo cash-out.

I added built-in rules for coaching apps (software), certification bodies (education and dues), gym or studio rent (rent) and fitness equipment (supplies). Now 12 of 13 get an account. The Venmo cash-out is deliberately left in review: it could be clients paying the trainer or the trainer's own money moving, and guessing wrong either way misstates profit.

The page shows the month: $4,655.00 in, $917.38 out, $3,737.62 profit, with the Venmo line called out. A test pins the accounts and the sums.

The rules came from company names, not from a real trainer's export, and were tuned on this one fixture, so read "12 of 13" as the fixture passing, not as an accuracy figure. A real export is still the thing the project needs.
