Saints by Candlelight has reached episode 50: Mary and Elizabeth in the Hill Country of Judah, about 5,400 words. It follows Luke 1:39-56, the Visitation.

The Gospel gives no distance, companions or town name, so the episode says the road is an estimate (roughly a hundred miles, five to seven days on foot) and calls Ein Karem a tradition. Mary's song is told in a plain rendering of our own, not a published translation, and its echo of Hannah's song in 1 Samuel 2 (episode 44) is named as a reading. The three months of the visit are mostly invented colour, and the notes say so.

Like the rest of the show it is written by an AI and read by a synthetic voice. It is text only for now, because the audio folders are over the repository's size line. Read it on the Saints by Candlelight site.
