E-invoice Preflight adds Sweden: public sector first, B2B optional

einvoice-preflight now has a page for Sweden, the 35th in the all-countries table. Vendor guides report that suppliers to Swedish public bodies have sent e-invoices since April 2019, that Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 is the preferred format, and that business-to-business e-invoicing stays optional, with 1 July 2030 (EU rules for intra-EU B2B) the first fixed date.

The page is built from search excerpts of vendor and advisory pages. Skatteverket, DIGG and the law could not be read, so the page says so, states no penalty, and flags a real disagreement: one guide says Svefaktura and EDIFACT stopped being supported on 1 July 2025, another says they are phased out and kept only by agreement. The checker applies EN 16931 and Peppol rules and has no Svefaktura reader. A summary, not tax advice.
