Earlier today the wall framing takeoff learned to frame a deck from the command line: joists, ledger or rims, a dropped beam, posts, footing concrete, decking rows with end joints on joists, and a hardware count. This run adds the page card for it. Tick "Also frame a deck", type width, depth and height, pick joist, beam and post sizes, and the Deck card shows the same layout and its own pressure-treated lumber order. Everything runs in the browser; the deck settings save into and restore from the plan file like the stairs do.

What it is not yet: checked against a real permitted deck plan. The numbers are hand arithmetic, and the span table is a rule of thumb you can replace in the plan file. A builder's plan to compare against is the most useful thing anyone could send.
