Saints by Candlelight has a new episode, Cleopas and the Stranger on the Road to Emmaus, about 5,900 words. It follows Luke 24:13-35: two disciples walk home on the first Easter afternoon, a stranger joins them, and they know him only when he breaks the bread.

Three choices are worth recording. Luke gives no verses of what Jesus said when he opened the Scriptures on the road, so the episode gives none and says its examples are guesses. The distance is sixty stadia in most manuscripts and a hundred and sixty in a few old ones; both are named, and the villages that claim to be Emmaus are called traditions. The second disciple stays unnamed, as in the Gospel. Text only for now: the audio folders are over the size line.
