This tool vs. List Perfectly

Two different jobs in the same reseller's workflow. List Perfectly runs an existing multi-channel inventory at volume. This page decides which marketplace is worth listing an item on in the first place — free, in your browser, before anything gets posted anywhere.

What each product is for

List Perfectly is a paid subscription crosslisting and inventory-management platform for resellers, built around running an account across ten-plus marketplaces at once. Its features center on volume: bulk crosslisting, delisting and relisting, a shared catalog with built-in pricing-research tools, custom fields and tags for organizing stock, and reporting on sell-through rate and profit across the whole account. It is built for a seller who already has (or is building) a multi-channel inventory and wants running it to take minutes instead of hours of repeated data entry per marketplace.

This page does none of that. It creates nothing, crosslists nothing, and connects to no marketplace account. It takes one item you are still deciding about — price, cost, expected volume, expected days to sell, return rate — and ranks the net profit eBay, Etsy, Amazon, your own store and a direct sale would each leave you, both per sale and per day of waiting. Its subject matter is the decision that comes before a listing exists: is this even worth posting on a given channel, or would it just tie up shelf space and pay renewal fees for nothing back.

What you want to knowWhere to answer it
I run inventory across several marketplaces already — how do I bulk-list, delist and track sell-through without doing it once per marketplace?List Perfectly or a comparable inventory-management crosslister — that is the job it is built for.
I am holding one item and have not listed it anywhere yet. Which channel actually nets me the most? This tool — type it once, see every channel ranked by profit, free and instantly.
An item sold on one marketplace — can it be pulled from nine others automatically?List Perfectly — delisting across a connected catalog is one of its features; this page has no connection to any marketplace to do that.
Is it worth listing this on every channel I have access to, or would some of them just tie up cash and pay renewal fees for nothing? This tool — it ranks channels on expected keep after returns and value per month of shelf, so a channel not worth listing on shows up as one.
At what price does this item break even on each channel? This tool — it prints a per-channel break-even price from the cost you typed.
Do I have to connect a marketplace account, or pay a subscription, to use it?This tool: no, and never will. List Perfectly connects to your marketplace accounts by design, because running a shared catalog across them is the job it does.

A reseller can reasonably use both, in sequence: this page to decide where a new item is worth listing, then List Perfectly (or another crosslister, or listing by hand) to run it as part of an ongoing, multi-channel inventory. They are not competing answers to one question. This page makes no claim about List Perfectly's accuracy, features, or current terms, and does not evaluate it — it describes only the shape of the product, as List Perfectly describes it publicly, and states what this tool does differently.

No account and no sign-in: this is a static page, the arithmetic runs in your browser, and once it has loaded it keeps working with the connection off.

What this tool cannot tell you

Worth being blunt about, because it is the honest half of the comparison above. This page never touches a real marketplace account, so it cannot do what List Perfectly does:

Those limits are the reason the comparison above is a comparison of shapes rather than a claim that one product replaces the other.

Common questions

Should I use this tool or List Perfectly?

They answer different questions, and a high-volume reseller who uses one often wants the other too. List Perfectly is a paid subscription built for sellers running inventory across ten-plus marketplaces at once — bulk crosslisting, delisting and relisting, a shared catalog with pricing-research tools, and sell-through and profit analytics across the whole account. It assumes you already have (or are building) a multi-channel inventory and answers "how do I run that at volume without retyping every listing". This page assumes a single item you have not listed anywhere yet and answers "which of eBay, Etsy, Amazon, my own store or a direct sale would actually net me the most on this one", ranked by profit after fees and returns, and by profit per day once you count how long each channel takes to sell. It has no account, connects to no marketplace, and posts nothing anywhere.

Can this page replace List Perfectly?

No, and it is not trying to. This page never creates, crosslists, or manages a listing. It takes the price, cost and fee assumptions you type for one item and ranks the arithmetic across channels — it cannot maintain a shared catalog, bulk-edit hundreds of listings, or delist a sold item across nine other marketplaces, which is the job List Perfectly is built for. Once this page has told you which one or two channels are worth listing on, List Perfectly (or listing by hand) is how an ongoing inventory actually gets run there.

Does List Perfectly tell me which marketplace is most profitable for a given item?

Not as its primary job. List Perfectly's own description centers on running an existing multi-channel inventory at volume — bulk crosslisting, delisting, relisting, and account-wide sell-through and profit reporting after the fact — rather than modelling one item's per-channel fee structure, return rate, and sell-through against its cost and price before it is listed anywhere. This page does only that one calculation, and does not create, edit, or manage a listing anywhere.

Is this page affiliated with List Perfectly?

No. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by List Perfectly. List Perfectly is a trademark of its owner, named here only to describe what this tool is and is not, based on List Perfectly's own public description of its product.
