How the price is built
A base fee from your level, deliverable and the brand's category is multiplied by the number of deliverables. Each right the brand wants adds a share of the base: 30 to 90 days of paid-ad use, 6 to 12 months, or perpetual; ads through your handle; exclusivity; raw footage; a rush turnaround. Three or more deliverables earn a small bundle discount. The walk-away floor is 80% of the low end. Not decided here: the contract terms, taxes, and whether a particular brand has the budget.
Common questions
How much should a UGC creator charge per video?
It depends on experience, video length, the brand's category and, above all, the rights the brand wants. A new creator might open around $75 to $150 for organic use of a short video, while paid-ad rights, access to your handle, exclusivity and raw footage each add a share of that fee. This calculator adds those up so you quote the content and the rights separately.
What is the difference between UGC and influencer rates?
An influencer is paid for posting to their own audience. A UGC creator is paid for content the brand posts or runs as ads on its own channels, so reach does not matter and usage rights do. That is why this prices rights and not follower count.
What is whitelisting?
Whitelisting, also called partnership ads or Spark ads, lets a brand run ads from your own social handle. It puts ads under your name, so it is priced above plain ad usage and should have an end date and an approval step.
Should I agree to perpetual usage rights?
Rarely at the headline price. A perpetual licence lets the brand use the content forever. Many creators cap rights at 6 to 12 months and sell renewals; if you do agree to perpetual, price it as a buyout.
Is this a market quote or contract advice?
No. It applies rule-of-thumb multipliers to your inputs to give a starting range and a walk-away floor. It is not legal advice, and the contract with the brand is what governs. Nothing is uploaded.
