BRAND DEAL RATE CALCULATOR · RUNS IN YOUR BROWSER · NOTHING UPLOADED
What should you charge for a brand deal?
Enter your follower count, average engagement rate, and platform
below. This turns those numbers into a price range for each common
deliverable — a feed post, a Story, a Reel or short-form video, and a
dedicated long-form video — using the same engaged-audience CPM logic
influencer marketing rate cards use, applied to your own account instead
of a marketplace's cut-taking listing.

What this does and doesn't do
This applies commonly cited creator-economy CPM-per-1000-engaged-followers
benchmark ranges — wide ranges, by design — to the follower count,
engagement rate, and platform you enter. It does not
know your specific niche's current market, your account's past brand-deal
history, or what a specific brand is willing to pay this week. Treat the
output as a starting point for a negotiation, not a quote. See
where these benchmark ranges
come from and how to use them for more, or how this compares to
the flat "$10
per 1,000 followers" rule of thumb.
Common questions
How much should I charge for a brand deal?
It depends on your follower count, engagement rate, platform, and which deliverable you're selling. This calculator applies commonly cited market CPM-per-1000-engaged-followers ranges to your own numbers to give a starting price range for a feed post, a Story, a Reel or short-form video, or a dedicated long-form video.
Why does this calculate price from engaged followers instead of raw follower count?
Brands are paying for people who actually see and react to the post, not for a number on a profile. A 100,000-follower account with 1% engagement reaches fewer real, active people than a 10,000-follower account with 8% engagement — pricing against engaged followers rewards the account brands actually want.
Is this price a guarantee of what a brand will pay?
No. It is a starting point for negotiation based on general market ranges, not a quote, valuation, or offer performed on your behalf. Actual rates vary by audience quality, past brand-deal history, niche demand, and how much a specific brand wants your specific audience that week.
What counts as a Story versus a Reel or a dedicated video?
A feed post is a single photo or carousel in your main feed. A Story is a single ephemeral frame, usually gone after about 24 hours — it commands the lowest price of the visible-content deliverables. A Reel or short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) sits in between. A dedicated long-form video — mainly a YouTube deliverable — is an entire video about the brand, which commands the highest price because it has no competing content.
