A remote Secret Santa usually means a spreadsheet, a signup form and an organizer who can see every pairing. This guide sets out a version with none of those: one link goes in the team chat, each person opens it and picks their own name, and nobody, the organizer included, learns anyone else's match.
The names, the rules and one random number are in the part of the link after the "#", which browsers do not send to any server. Everyone who opens the same link recomputes the same draw on their own device. The organizer who made the link sees the list of names, but never opens a page that shows who drew whom, unless they choose to play as a participant.
The limit is honesty. Anyone could look at someone else's result by picking another name, so this works on the honor system. If your team does not trust that, use the pass-the-phone mode on one shared screen instead, where a name disappears once used.
Add the exchange date as a calendar file so every person gets a reminder in their own time zone. For gifts that must ship, set the budget and the ship-by date in the same message as the link, and allow for the slowest country on the team.
It does not collect shipping addresses, handle payments or send email. Asking people for an address is between them and their giftee, in whichever channel the team prefers.

Not through the generator. The link holds the names and rules, and each person's page shows only their own match. It runs on the honor system, so anyone could pick another name and look.
No. Everyone gets the same group link in your team chat and picks their own name, so no emails are collected or sent.
Share one link and the exchange date at the same time and add the date as a calendar file, so each person gets a reminder in their own time zone. Set the ship-by date for the slowest country on the team.
