A pickleball club league has two jobs: decide who plays whom, and decide which court and what time. A round robin does the first. The second is where hand-made schedules go wrong, with a court booked twice or one team stuck with the late slot all season. Eight teams is a common size: 7 weeks, 4 matches a week.

Eight invented teams play a single round robin on Wednesdays from 7 October 2026. Two courts at 18:00 and 19:00 give exactly the four slots a night needs. Home team is listed first.

Every team plays every other team once, no court is used twice at the same time, and each team plays the 18:00 slot three or four times out of seven. The slot assignment is a seeded search, so the same input always gives the same table.
The table comes from the same code the page runs and a test recomputes it, so it cannot drift from the tool.
List the teams, pick the night, and use a round robin so every team plays every other team once. Eight teams play 7 rounds of 4 matches. Then give each match a court and a start time so no court is booked twice, and share the early and late slots out evenly.
Half the number of teams, rounded down, matches per round, so eight teams need four court-and-time slots a night: two courts at two start times, or four courts at one. Count courts times start times, not courts alone.
No. In a team league each team keeps its players and plays other teams. In a rotating-partner night (Americano or Mexicano) individual players change partners every round. This page covers team leagues; the Americano and Mexicano guides cover rotating partners.
Count how many early slots each team gets across the season and keep the counts within one of each other. In the eight-team example every team plays the 18:00 slot three or four times out of seven.
Add the date as a skip date and the season moves past it, list the court as closed on that date, and move a rained-out round with the rainout box; the tool keeps every court and time free of clashes.
