An adult rec softball or kickball league has three jobs: decide who plays whom, decide which diamond and what start time, and cope with the team that has a wedding on week four. A round robin does the first, and the other two are where a hand-made spreadsheet breaks. Six teams on a Tuesday night is a common size: 5 weeks, 3 games a night.

Six invented teams play a single round robin on Tuesdays from 14 April 2026, with games at 18:30 and 20:00 on two diamonds. Walk-Offs cannot play on 5 May. Home team is listed first.

Every team plays every other team once and no diamond is used twice at the same start. On 5 May Walk-Offs is out, so only two games are played, and its one missed game against Grand Slammers is the makeup on 19 May. The slot assignment is a seeded search, so the same input always gives the same table.
The table comes from the same code the page runs and a test recomputes it, so it cannot drift from the tool.
List the teams, pick the weeknight, and use a round robin so every team plays every other team once. Six teams play 5 rounds of 3 games. Then give each game a diamond and a start time so no diamond is booked twice.
Enter the team and the date as a blackout. That team is left out of that night's round, and the one game it misses moves to a makeup night at the end of the season, so nothing else in the schedule changes.
Three games a night need three diamond-and-start-time slots: two diamonds at two start times give four, which leaves one spare slot and lets the tool spread early and late starts fairly.
Count how many early starts each team gets over the season and keep the counts within one of each other, so the same team is not always stuck with the late game after work.
Move it with the rainout box: the game goes to the earliest later night both teams are free and a diamond is open, and nothing else in the schedule moves.
