Privacy and limits
Everything runs in your browser. Your bid details are never uploaded. "Copy shareable link" encodes the opportunity, due date, and every requirement row into the URL fragment rather than sending it anywhere — the fragment is never included in any network request, so nothing leaves your browser when you share it, but only share the link with people you trust with those details. Anonymous local counts record only feature names and can be disabled below. Counting is also disabled when the browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
No warranty. This tool is provided free and as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is not legal, financial, or contracting advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying its output before relying on it, and for meeting any obligation it helps you prepare for. Free and open source. If it caught a missing requirement before the deadline, the code is under an MIT licence — support is entirely optional and never changes what the tool does. Common questions
What does marking a requirement “Ready” versus “Attention” versus “Blocked” actually change?
Only items marked Ready count toward being done — anything left as Attention or Blocked shows up in the missing count and in the readiness report. Blocked exists as its own status, separate from Attention, so an item you cannot move forward without someone else (a subcontractor's certificate, a bond your surety hasn't issued yet) is visibly different from one that is simply not started.
How is the days-remaining count worked out, and why does it matter that today counts as zero?
Both the deadline and today are set to local midnight before the difference is taken, so a bid due today reads as 0 days remaining, not 1 — and a deadline that passed overnight reads as past-due within the same day rather than showing a confusing fractional number. Urgency turns to “urgent” at 2 days or fewer remaining and to “past-due” the moment the count goes negative, so the deadline pressure on the page matches what the calendar actually says. See does a bid due today count as a day remaining? for the worked table.
Does “all items ready” mean the bid is compliant or guaranteed to be accepted?
No. It means every requirement you listed is marked ready in your own tracking — it is only as complete as the list you built. This tool does not read the solicitation, does not check your documents for correctness, and cannot confirm the issuing authority will accept the submission. Always re-check the original RFP for a requirement you may not have listed.
Does this tool read or upload my bid documents?
No. It never opens or accepts files — it only tracks requirement names, owners, statuses, and notes that you type in, entirely in your browser. The downloaded Markdown report is generated locally and saved straight to your device.
Can I use this for more than one bid at a time?
Each browser session tracks one opportunity at a time on this page. Download the Markdown report for a bid before starting the next one so you keep a record, since the requirement list is not saved between opportunities automatically.
Can I share this checklist with a subcontractor or co-bidder?
Yes. "Copy shareable link" encodes the opportunity name, due date, and every requirement row — name, owner, status, note — into the link itself, after the "#". That part of a URL is never sent to a server or logged anywhere, so opening the link loads the same checklist without anything having been uploaded. It replaces retyping the list from a PDF or the downloaded Markdown report, and it is a snapshot: editing your copy after sending the link does not update anyone else's.
Is my checklist data uploaded anywhere?
No account and no network requests — everything stays in your browser. Anonymous feature counts are local-only, optional, and the checkbox above turns them off; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable them automatically.
