1. Your sales report
In App Store Connect open Sales and Trends and download a Summary Sales report (tab-separated text or CSV). Needs Units and Developer Proceeds plus a Title, SKU or Begin Date. Used when present: Product Type Identifier, Country Code, Currency of Proceeds, Customer Currency, Customer Price, Proceeds Reason, Promo Code and Parent Identifier.
2. Exchange rates (edit these)
Assumptions, not Apple's rates. Type the value of one unit of each payout currency in your reporting currency, for example EUR=1.08, GBP=1.27, JPY=0.0067. A currency with no rate is left out of the totals and named in the result.
Choose a file or paste the text, then click Analyze.

The model, and what it leaves out
- Net proceeds are units times Developer Proceeds on each row, so refunds (negative units) subtract. They are what Apple pays after its commission and after taxes it collects.
- Reconciles. The by-product, by-type, by-country, by-month and by-currency tables each add up to the same net total, using the same exchange rates.
- Exchange rates are the ones you type. Rows in a currency with no rate are excluded from converted totals and named, never guessed.
- Proceeds share of price compares proceeds with the customer price only on rows where both are in one currency. The gap includes Apple's commission and any tax or VAT in the price, so it is not the commission rate.
- Refund rate is refunded units over sold units for a product; products with fewer than five sold units are shown but never drive a suggestion.
- Small Business Program is inferred only from a proceeds-reason value in the file. The tool cannot tell whether you qualify or when a lower rate would start.
- Not modelled: your income tax, Apple's payment timing, currency movements between the sale and the payout, ad spend, subscriptions that lapse without a refund, and anything not in the file.
Common questions
How do I see how much I actually earn from my iOS app after Apple's cut?
Download the Summary Sales report from App Store Connect (Sales and Trends) and drop it here. The tool multiplies units by Developer Proceeds, which is what Apple pays you after its commission, and totals it by product, country, month and type of sale. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.
Why does the tool ask for exchange rates?
Apple reports proceeds in each storefront's payout currency. Adding pounds to euros to yen is meaningless, so you type the rates you want to use (for example EUR=1.08) and the tool converts with them. A currency you give no rate for is left out of the totals and listed, never guessed.
Are proceeds the same as revenue?
No. Proceeds are what Apple pays after its commission and after sales taxes it collects. Your income tax, payment timing and the exchange rate on the day the money reaches your bank all differ, so use the figures to understand your business and your own statements for accounting.
Does this show whether I am in the Small Business Program?
It looks for a proceeds reason mentioning the program in your file. If a report has a proceeds-reason column and none of your paid sales carry it, the page suggests checking your enrolment. It cannot tell whether you qualify or when Apple would apply the lower rate, so check Apple's current terms.
Are the column names right for my report?
They are matched by alias from memory of Apple's Summary Sales report, and no real report was available when this was built. If your file is not read, the page names the rows it skipped and why; a sheet with the headers Title, Product Type Identifier, Units, Developer Proceeds, Begin Date, Country Code and Currency of Proceeds always works.
Is this tax or financial advice?
No. It applies arithmetic to your file and the rates you enter. It is independent of Apple and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
