VET WELLNESS PLAN PRICING · RUNS IN YOUR BROWSER · NOTHING UPLOADED

What should our wellness plan cost, and what happens if members use more than we planned?

List the services in the plan with how many a member gets per year, your list price and your own cost to deliver each. Add the plan discount, billing fees and how much of the bundle members actually use. The tool shows the monthly fee that reaches your target margin, the margin if utilisation runs high, what members save, and what the plan earns across your member base after churn.

Arithmetic on the numbers you type. Not veterinary, medical, tax, legal or pricing advice, and some states regulate pet wellness or insurance-like plans, so check yours. The values shown are placeholder data, not benchmarks, market prices or any real practice's figures.

What the plan includes

List price is what a client pays a la carte. Your cost is supplies, lab fees and staff time to deliver it.

Questions people ask

How do I price a veterinary wellness plan?

Add up what the included services would cost a client a la carte at your list prices, apply the plan discount, then work backwards from your own cost of delivering them. This tool takes each service with its yearly quantity, list price and your cost, subtracts billing fees, assumes only some members use everything, and shows the monthly fee that reaches the margin you target.

Why do plan members who skip services matter?

A wellness plan is paid monthly whether or not the services are used. If members use 85% of what is bundled, the practice pays for 85% of the cost. If they use more, margin shrinks fast, which is why the result shows margin at 60%, 80%, 100% and 120% of planned use.

Is a plan better than selling the same services a la carte?

The result shows the margin you would earn selling the same visits at list price against the margin on the plan. The plan can still win through predictable monthly revenue, higher visit frequency and fewer skipped visits; those effects are not modelled here, so treat the comparison as the price of the discount only.

What does the break-even utilisation number mean?

It is the share of the bundled services a member could use before the plan stops covering its own service cost and billing fees. If it is only a little above your planned use, the plan has little room for members who use more than you assumed.
