Keep this bid so it is still here when the customer calls back. Every number on this form is saved together, under a name you choose, along with the figure it gave you, and restoring one puts the whole job back exactly as you priced it. Mark each one won or lost when you hear — the ones you have not heard back on stay listed as waiting, with how long they have been out. Once a few have come back, this panel says how long yours actually take, and how many are still out past that. Once enough of them have been decided, it also says whether the bids you save here have been landing differently lately than they used to.

UPSTASH REDIS BILL ESTIMATOR · RUNS IN YOUR BROWSER
What will your Upstash Redis bill be, and should you go fixed?
Enter your usage from the Upstash console and get an estimated monthly bill by line and a ranked list of levers (pipelining, hot-key caching, polling, TTLs, payload size) plus the pay-as-you-go vs fixed-plan crossover, each lever with a dollar saving.
Nothing is uploaded. Calculated in this browser from numbers you enter and approximate list prices you can edit. It cannot see your plan or your invoice.

No. It reads only the usage numbers you type or paste (copy them from the database's Usage tab in the Upstash console) and multiplies them by list prices you can edit. It cannot see your plan, region, databases, add-ons, contract or real invoice. Treat every figure as a way to compare options, never as what you will be charged.
Where do the prices come from?
They are approximate public list prices for pay-as-you-go and the fixed plans, written from memory of Upstash's pricing page as best known in 2025 and not re-fetched, shown with an as-of date. Every pay-as-you-go price and allowance is editable. Upstash changes prices and packaging, so verify on upstash.com/pricing before relying on a number.
How is the saving for each lever calculated?
Each lever re-runs the estimate with one change applied under an assumption shown beside it (for example, pipelining that removes 30% of commands) and reports the difference. The assumptions are editable. Levers overlap, so the savings are not additive.
When does a fixed plan beat pay-as-you-go?
When monthly commands are high enough that the flat price is below commands times the per-million rate plus storage and bandwidth overage. The estimator finds the cheapest fixed plan whose storage ceiling holds your data and prints the command volume where the two cost the same. Each fixed plan has its own bandwidth and connection limits that this does not model, so check them on the vendor site.
Is my usage data uploaded anywhere?
No. The browser page calculates in your own browser and never sends anything. The CLI reads a local file or stdin and makes no network call.
