One date per line: 2026-10-14 D (worked a day shift), 2026-10-20 N (night shift) or 2026-10-22 - (off). More dates narrow it down.

Hours per week is the cycle average. "Worst 7 days" is the most hours in any 7-day window, which is what overtime rules usually look at; check yours.

Run it from the command line

Common questions

What is a Pitman (2-2-3) schedule?

Work two days, off two, work three, off two, work two, off three, repeating every 14 days with four crews covering days and nights. It averages 42 hours a week on 12-hour shifts, gives every other weekend off and never needs more than three shifts in a row, but some weeks contain five shifts (60 hours).

How do I put a rotating shift schedule into Google or Apple Calendar?

Pick the pattern and your crew, enter the date you are on day 1 of the cycle, choose how many days to cover and download the .ics file. Import it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Events use local wall-clock time, so a 07:00 shift stays at 07:00 across daylight saving changes.

I do not know which crew or cycle day I am on. What now?

Use the Find my crew box: list a few dates you remember working a day shift, a night shift or being off. The tool shows every crew position that fits. If more than one fits, add another remembered date until only one is left.

Does the tool check overtime law?

No. It reports the average hours per week and the most hours in any 7-day window, which are the numbers people ask about. Overtime rules differ by country, state, industry and agreement (for example 7(k) work periods for fire and police in the United States), so confirm with your employer or union.

Is my schedule uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in this page and the calendar file is built in your browser. The page makes no network calls.
