When is my next grant report due?

Small nonprofits often know the award date and that the funder wants a report every six or twelve months. The date that matters today is the current period — which may already be overdue — not the first interval after the award letter.

Worked example. Award date 1 January 2025. Report every 6 months. Today 26 August 2026.

1 July 2025 — already passed
1 January 2026 — already passed
1 July 2026 — current period, overdue
1 January 2027 — next upcoming date after you file the overdue one

Common questions

When is my next grant report due if I report every six months?

From a 1 January 2025 award with a six-month interval, the current period on 26 August 2026 is 1 July 2026 (overdue), not 1 July 2025. The next upcoming date after that period is 1 January 2027.
