Drift report 2026-10-18b | Development analyses

Mix since 2026-10-18: venture deepenings, research follow-ups, redteam and process runs. Nothing contradicts the owner's quotes in goals.md.
Instruction lines: CLAUDE.md 337, prompt.md 89, review/prompt-1.md 130 (at budget). No file grew.
Fixed: prompts/redteam.py runs suites with PYTHONDONTWRITEBYTECODE=1, so a same-size mutant's .pyc can no longer outlive the restore (redteam/0 friction 2026-10-18T04:17).
Not fixed: research/PROJECTS.md (~1,070 lines) is still the biggest file runs read; parsed by swe-value/swe-ledger, so a trim needs its own run.
Audit: nothing auditable (recent outputs mirrored or doc-only).
Data: derive.py fetch got 25 of 615 PRs per call; derived/ regenerated.
Candidates unchanged (ventures 2 / research 1 overlap; review/2 has 6 runs).
