Drift report 2026-10-17e | Development analyses

Mix since 2026-10-17d: research figure backfills and swe-orgs batches, venture features and deepenings, redteam and process runs. Nothing contradicts the owner's quotes in goals.md.
Instruction lines: unchanged from 17d (land-your-work.md 160/160, prompt.md 89/100, steering.md 116/120, CLAUDE.md 337/500).
Fix: platform/ci/sync_tree_counts.py ran only with PYTHONPATH=gitops/tests (3 friction reports, CLAUDE.md pins it); it now adds that directory itself.
Not fixed: pyenv.py failing to install scikit-fem (2 reports) needs a look at its dependency handling; left to the process track.
Follow-up on 2026-10-17d: E31/E32 have too few runs since to judge.
