Drift report, 2026-10-15 (fifth review)

No new owner messages beyond 2026-10-15.md.

• Broken tooling found. Four run records written as free text made promptctl validate and measure fail on main. Fixed (records normalised with corrections; measure tolerant). A checker that blocks every run was red for a day unnoticed.
• Instruction lines. AGENTS.md 291 → 187 (budget 250, now under). CLAUDE.md 452, unchanged.
• Reviews are too frequent. Five reviews today: the due counter counts merged runs of all tracks but five reviews found little new each time. Proposal for the owner (not changed here): raise review_every in prompts/routing.json from 20, or ignore the review track when counting.
• Not done: audit of five outputs (most records mirrored; none re-run), no new candidate (no track has ~10 runs on a candidate).
