Your crew hourly wage and target net margin are the same on every job you bid. Save them once and every trade bid calculator here opens with your numbers instead of a stranger’s ballpark.
This tool has no separate payroll-burden field and prices containment setup, air monitoring, and waste disposal as their own line items rather than a percentage of direct cost, so your saved burden and overhead rates are left alone here.
Kept in this browser only, on this site’s own storage. Nothing is uploaded, and clearing your browser data clears it. Forgetting them leaves the numbers already on this bid alone.
Keep this bid so it is still here when the customer calls back. Every number on this form is saved together, under a name you choose, along with the figure it gave you, and restoring one puts the whole job back exactly as you priced it. Mark each one won or lost when you hear — the ones you have not heard back on stay listed as waiting, with how long they have been out. Once a few have come back, this panel says how long yours actually take, and how many are still out past that. Once enough of them have been decided, it also says whether the bids you save here have been landing differently lately than they used to.

FOR LICENSED ASBESTOS ABATEMENT CONTRACTORS
Price the job by what actually drives the cost.
A flat rate per square foot doesn't see containment class, how many separate work areas need their own setup, or how much air monitoring and waste disposal the job produces. This free calculator prices a removal job from those numbers instead — then shows exactly how far off a flat per-square-foot rate would have been on the same job.

This is a pricing worksheet from the numbers you typed, not an audited estimate, an asbestos inspection, or a check against any regulatory requirement.
Hand the customer a proposal
The price above is for you. This is the page you print or save as a PDF and give to the customer — your details, their details, the scope, the deposit split, and a line for them to sign. Your business details are saved on this device so you only type them once; the customer’s details are never saved.
Everything on the printed page is text you typed or a number this calculator worked out. It contains no warranty, lien, or cancellation wording — those depend on your jurisdiction and your contract, and this tool is not the place to invent them.
Private by default
Everything on this page runs in your browser and nothing is ever uploaded. There is no account and no server-side storage of any kind — your job details, rates, and price are never saved or sent anywhere, and refreshing the page clears them by design. "Copy share link" encodes your containment class, footage, crew, and cost figures into this page's own URL — nothing is sent to a server, and the link is only ever built and copied in your browser. We count only anonymous local feature events (quote_calculated, reset, share_link_copied, sponsor_link_clicked) so we can tell whether the calculator gets used — no job, price, or client figures are recorded, and Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control turn it off automatically.
Common questions
Is this an asbestos inspection or a substitute for my certification?
No. This is a pricing worksheet only. It does not perform an asbestos inspection, bulk-sample identification, or air-quality analysis, does not check any federal, state, or local regulatory requirement, and does not replace your own certification, competent-person determination, or professional judgment about scope and liability on a given job.
Why does the calculator ask for a containment class instead of just square footage?
Class I friable material needs full containment, a negative-air machine, and a decon chamber, and crews move far slower doing wet removal in full PPE. Class III minor, incidental disturbance of non-friable material can be glovebagged in an afternoon. The labor hours per square foot between the two differ by five to six times, so a flat rate that only sees area gets one of them wrong.
Why not just quote a flat rate per square foot like a lot of the trade does?
A flat rate does not see containment class, how many separate work areas need their own setup, or how much air monitoring and waste the job produces. A small, simple Class III job can end up overpriced by a rate calibrated to an average job mix, and a large Class I job can end up badly underpriced. The comparison panel below shows the gap on the job you just priced.
Does anything about my job or client get uploaded?
No. Every number on this page runs in your browser only. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and no job address, client name, or price is ever saved or transmitted. Usage counting only tallies anonymous feature events, and you can turn it off below.
What if I don't know the exact air monitoring sample count or waste volume before I bid?
Use your best estimate from a walkthrough, the project specification, or a similar past job of the same containment class and size — the same way you would size up any job. This tool prices the numbers you enter; it does not verify them against a site inspection.
